The L.A. Love Project (LALP) is a collective of individuals bound by a common
faith and a deep-rooted commitment to bring aid, comfort, and encouragement to the poorest and most desperate members of our community. The outreach program originated in the congregation of Calvary Chapel North Town, but has since grown to include other church entities, affiliate organizations, and independent persons, all of whom are committed to the cause of alleviating human suffering, starting with those in closest proximity to us and ultimately expanding to the furthest reaches of our nation.
Our faith in Christ and our desire to model His example of servant-leadership
provided the inspiration for the founding of LALP, but our compassion for our
fellow man and passion for charitable works is the impetus for the growth we
have experienced and impact we have made since our inception. Our church
origins are evident in our dialogue and the way we engage with the public, and
just like the traditional church, we believe it is incumbent upon us to inspire
positive change beyond the walls of our places of worship.
We are utterly indifferent to religious background, race, ethnicity, gender, nationality, and/or political affiliation insofar as it relates to eligibility for aid. The only prerequisite to receiving aid is genuine need.
